The highly palatable and easily digestible recipe, without the addition of cereals, is complemented by the addition of fish oil with a good ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 fatty acids. These polyunsaturated fatty acids ensure a shiny coat, a good protective skin barrier and can also have an anti-inflammatory effect on the organism. As is usual with all BOONS foods, there is only one highly digestible protein source, making it a hypoallergenic recipe.
