The HOME cat tree, which has won design awards (Plus X Award 2015/2016; German Design Award 2017 Nominee), is the very first cat tree line and stands for a whole new generation of cat furniture.

HOME was designed and developed by us back in 2011 and is the first modern cat tree in Europe. As a superior model in our range, it is characterised by fine aesthetics down to the smallest detail, millimetre-precise manufacturing from the highest quality material and a hidden, innovative connection technology. This scratching furniture will last a lifetime.

Features: Base plate, trunk segments as well as lying surfaces are made of extremely hard-wearing birch multiplex wood which is coated with an HPL (High Pressure Laminate). Birch multiplex is one of the highest quality furniture materials. A special feature here is the fine veneer layers visible on the front edges of the lying surfaces. On the angular trunk ( 8 x 8 cm ) these can be enjoyed in the side view. To accommodate the 5 mm thick felt inlays made of OEKO-TEX certified pure new wool, the tops of the lying surfaces are milled out to the millimetre. The felt inserts fit perfectly with the surface. Nothing is overbearing here, no plush, no frills - just HOME! The cat will feel "completely at home" on the large lying areas. On 40x50 centimetres there is enough space for climbing, romping, chilling and checking out. The ideal complement for the lying areas are the stylecats® cat beds, which are specially made for our scratching posts. If you are planning to use a cat bed, please let us know in the comments field which lying surface it should be placed on. The cut-out for the intended felt inlay will then be omitted and you will receive a lying surface with a complete HPL coating, on which a Velcro fastener can be applied to fix the bed.

The lower trunk segment of the HOME cat tree is coated with sisal as standard. Compared to sisal cords, the fine woven look of our sisal with latex waffle backing appears delicate and noble and is extremely hard-wearing and durable at the same time. You can optionally choose whether the short, individual trunk elements should also be coated with sisal or remain pure.

The base plate is equipped with a flush-integrated and replaceable scratching surface.

Special features: Should the top side of the felt inserts become worn at some point, the felt inserts can be turned over. Vacuuming or brushing is sufficient for maintenance. All coated surfaces can be cleaned of hair or dust with a single wipe. This means that our HOME cat tree is also recommended for allergy sufferers.

Details: Hidden inside the trunk are an aluminium profile and a one-and-a-half centimetre thick threaded steel rod, which ensures the best possible vertical stability of the cat tree. A ten-kilogram steel plate is embedded in the base plate from below and achieves impressive stability. The mounting material is of course included in the delivery. Attention was also paid to the greatest possible stability when fixing the lying surfaces to the trunk. Another invisible detail is the slatted cover. In addition to the screw connection, these are inserted into grooves on the trunk and lying surface - more stability is not possible. The design scratching post is suitable for large and heavy cats.

Our modular system allows you to expand the design scratching post at any time. Individual trunk elements, lying surfaces and pads are available individually and can be reordered.
