The origin of the SPACY feeding bowl
After stylecats had already developed the CLASSY food bowl and the WOODIE LUNCH food bowl bar, we thought about a completely new material and a completely new design. A feeding bowl from a single mould, made of a material that was completely new to the pet market. The material used for the SPACY feeding bowl has so far only been used in the kitchen furniture or bathroom sector and convinces with its velvety feel and excellent material properties. Using a new manufacturing technology, this feeding bowl is also produced in Hanover.
Research and innovation
The research area at stylecats is of fundamental importance to us. This is where solutions and ideas for new cat accessories take shape and are successfully tested by the two consultant cats Dimi and Toni, among others. An in-house design team follows the entire development process from the design of the first prototypes to serial implementation with the help of state-of-the-art software, as is the case with the SPACY feeding bowl.
Environmental protection at stylecats
Many people are unaware that the air inside a house can be more polluted than the air in the great outdoors. If poor quality materials are used in the manufacture of scratching posts, cat furniture or feeding bowls, harmful volatile substances can be released. For this reason, we use certified and pollutant-free materials in the manufacture of our products.
SPACY feeding bowl sets new standards
The high-quality solid surface material ensures that the SPACY feeding bowl is highly lightfast, it cannot fade or discolour. It is also the reason for the characteristic feel of the feeding bowl material: an almost soft to the touch surface that is also noticeably warmer than pure stone. This in turn is very pleasant for the cats' intake of the food. The production of this special material allows thermal deformations, so that complex shapes can be realised. Other highlights of the food bowl material are the hygienic and easy-care surfaces without joints, as this prevents bacteria from accumulating or even multiplying. The food bowl bar is designed so that it can be cleaned in any dishwasher or simply in the hand basin.
