The high-quality sisal scratching area in the base plate for the cat can also be replaced on the stylecats scratching posts. This has several advantages: after a certain amount of use by the cat, only the scratching area needs to be replaced and the pet does not have to get used to a new home, because the rest of the furniture remains in place.
The sisal is attached to the inside by means of screws. This means that the sisal is easy to replace and can withstand even rough scratching without any problems.

If you purchased your CLU cat tree in 2017, you should measure the sisal insert again to be on the safe side, as there were briefly slightly different dimensions of the sisal insert in the base plate during this period.
